Got a job in a metro city that leaves you and your spouse with little time to give clothes for laundry or clean the ceiling fans, or get electrical repairs done, then worry not. There is help at hand. 

A bunch of enterprising people have launched services and mobile applications to provide trained staff that do your house errands, take care of babies and elders of the family and even wash your laundry.

We just thought of compiling a list of start-ups that can shrink the time you spend on house chores. These companies will require you to register online with your requirements, search through their database, pay for the services.

City of operation: Mumbai, Thane, Navi Mumbai 

Services offered: House errands, passport, cake, parcel delivery services, repairs, vehicle servicing

4. MyWash.in

City of operation: Bengaluru

Services offered: Washing, drycleaning and ironing service

 5. Getdomestichelp.com

City of operation: Delhi, Hyderabad

Services offered: Hire trained helpers for cooking, driving, elderly care, housekeeping.

6. Honestcollars.com

City of operation: Bangalore

Services offered: Android Mobile app that allows you to hire trained helpers like maid or skilled labour for electrical, plumbing jobs.

7. Hammerandmop.com

City of operation: Mumbai

Services offered: they offer packages to clean everything: home clean up, after party clean up, shifting in clean up for homes and offices. Also provide services for doing house errands.

Well your Gruhini didn’t get a chance to verify how good they are as she does it on her own. But do share your feedback, good or bad, and even any other start-up’s services that you use. It might just help other Gruhinis who are looking out for such outsourcing of daily chores.
